![]() Davis Concert Staging was created in July, 2006 by brothers Ben and Jake Davis. The two saw advantages in the opportunity to organize and promote quality music events with a socially responsible and charitable focus. In August, 2006, the Davis boys organized and hosted the first DCS show at the Davis household in Marlton, NJ. The name of the inaugural event - The Goods in the Woods - was inspired by it's location in the southern tip of Evesham Township. The show turned out to be a huge success; four bands were included on the show bill; three from the Philadelphia/South Jersey area and one from Dallas, Texas. The bands at the event played multiple genres from punk and rock to emo and popular covers. The turnout was big with nearly 200 guests of all ages in attendance. After the event was complete and cleanup was finished, Ben and Jake decided to make the festival the genesis of their non-profit charitable organization. Today, DCS operates with 4 volunteer board members, including Ben & Jake, to organize, produce, and promote multiple events throughout the year. Long term organizational goals include:
